AVISTAZ RULES:

Main/Torrent Page:

Welcome to AvistaZ.com, feel free to download torrents, and talk in the forums, or join us in
our IRC channel. As a new member please limit your downloads to 2, we have a fully
automated warning system on site which will warn you and remove your download ability if at
any time your ratio drops below 1.00. We work on overall site ratio here, so it is important
that you maintain your ratio at all times. Also make sure that you read the site rules (&FAQs)
where all relevant information can be found. We are very glad to have you here in our
community, and we hope you have a good stay. Please feel free to contact any staff member
about anything. Thanks for joining.

Before you enter the site you must abide by and agree to ALL the SITE RULES,

our <Private Policy> and <AvistaZ Disclaimer>.

General Rules:
  1. Disruptive behavior in the Main Site or anywhere else on this community will result in a warning ().
    A. You will only get one warning! After that you will be permanently banned.
  2. No cheating on ratio! Cheaters will be banned without notice.
  3. You are only allowed to have 1 account per IP address.
    A. Multiple accounts are NOT allowed.

    B. If you live in a place where there is more than one person using the same connection then
you need to contact an administrator to connect with more than one person from your current
IP address, (This also goes with sharing accounts) the administrator may or may not allow this
depending on your situation. If you fail to do this, your account(s) will be banned or deleted
    without any form of warning!!!

  4. Complaining that your account (being deleted) or for anything else will NOT help and it might result in a permanent ban of your IP address.
  5. Be patient with newcomers. Once you have become an AvistaZ expert, it is easy to forget that you started out as a newbie too.
  6. Do NOT defy the moderators' or administrators' expressed wishes!

Downloading:
  1. This is a sharing community, and as you download you are required to share back your part.
  2. You must maintain a general overall ratio 1.0 or better. In other words, we expect you to seed back just as much as you have downloaded!
  3. Maintain a minimum of 0.5 for each torrent you downloaded. However, you should be seeding back as much as you can to maintain your account
  4. Your rank/status:
Member : Regular user with ratio around 1.0 and up
Leecher: Regular user with ratio far below 1.0
    Guest : Banned
    V.I.P : Donated / Distinguished member
Uploader : Staff / Noted content provider
    Moderator : Moderates this site
    Administrator : Administer/Moderates this site
Owner : Founder of this site
  5. New Members and Leechers will have waiting times (WT Column) imposed on them: Read rule here
  6. If your current history shows continuous leeching, hit and runs, or a low ratio, it may
result in severe consequences, including disabled downloads and even permanent banning from the site.
  7. Check for seeds before stopping. Running from low seeded torrents will not be treated lightly.
  8. IF YOU WANT YOUR RATIO TO COUNT PROPERLY: DISABLE YOUR DHT/PEER SETTINGS IN YOUR BT CLIENT. Use FAQ guide for explanation why.
  9. Thank the uploaders when you download from them.{optional}

Uploading:
  1. Please refer to and abide by: Uploaders Rules [HERE] and General Description Guide [HERE]
  2. Only media produced in Asian countries are allowed. Media produced elsewhere are allowed with Moderator/Administrator approval. ASIAN MAP [HERE]
  3. ALL UPLOADS MUST HAVE REQUIRED MINIMUM COMPULSORY DESCRIPTION ITEMS. [DETAILS HERE]
  4. Do not upload more than you or your internet connection can handle.
  5. You MUST put a warning label at the top of your description for movies containing extreme violence, sexual content, nudity, and movies labeled Cat3 ().
  6. Staff reserves the right to remove any file(s) they deem inappropriate and they have final say and is not up for discussion or complaint.

Torrent Managing Clients [VIEW LIST)]
  1. AvistaZ recommends these clients: Utorrent, Tranmission, and Deluge
  2. We will NOT help you with your ratio, if you use a incompatible client with Avistaz.
  3. Also, clients in alpha, beta, or other experimental versions should be avoided.
  4. If you are caught using a BANNED or UNKNOWN client will get you BANNED (if you're not sure, ask a staff)

Torrent Comments:
  1. Courtesy to the uploader is always appreciated. Leave a comment, or a simple thanks will do!
  2. Please limit your torrent comments to the specific upload in question.
  3. Always respect the uploader!
  4. Do NOT abuse the ability to place torrent comments.
  5. Flaming, arguments & comments like "this is crap" will NOT be tolerated.
    A. If you have no intentions of downloading or don’t have anything nice to say, don't comment.
  6. Remember...if our releases are not subject to your taste or if you don't like a release, stay away from it!
  7. NO language other than English is to be posted in torrent comments. Unless Translated.
  8. Do NOT post our torrent files and/or links to other torrent sites. Also do NOT post subtitle links. (This includes links to subtitle sites, megaupload, or rapidshare links.)
    A. Upload missing subs, or sub fixes.
  9. NO spamming or posting lame referral schemes/adds/links/pages anywhere on site. Offenders will be BANNED.
  10. Do NOT leave any personal information in the comments sections such as email addresses (it's for your own safety).

Any questions or issues please use WEBCHAT to ask your questions. DO NOT POST questions in the forums

Finally:

The site reserves the right to change and amend rules accordingly. There are no set rules for staff, use your common sense to figure it out, by way of example, it is not difficult. Staff do as they will and see fit. If someone gets banned and didn't even break any rules, it probably means you've upset them somehow. Simple, just be "nicer."

Think before you post and express yourself.
